Grand Opening a HUGE and Promising Success

July 31st, 2010 marked the opening of the retail bakery at Food for Good Thought. The Grand Opening was a huge success and was attended by around 100 people. Each of the attendees was able to sign up for door prizes, sample all of our products, take tours of our newly renovated space and purchase any of the products they enjoyed. Weather put a damper on being able to having the opening outside, however the space was able to accommodate everyone comfortably inside until the rain stopped. Smoked Salmon Sandwiches, Trailmix, Blueberry Muffins, Vanilla Cake and Banana Bread were among some of the samples that were passed around during the three hour event.

During the opening, Food for Good Thought's three baking apprentices were featured and spoken about. Each of the apprentices were brought out and given an award and a chef's hat for their participation with the company from the beginning.
